Stranger Sessions
There’s something about two people meeting for the first time that just hits different.
Stranger Sessions are exactly what they sound like… I pair two people who have never met, drop them into a beautiful setting, and capture whatever unfolds. No backstory, no expectations… just real energy in real time.
It usually starts a little awkward (in the best way), then turns into laughing, actual connection, and moments that feel way more natural than you’d expect. That in-between space is what I’m after… not perfect posing, just something honest and a little cinematic.
The Experience
I’ll guide you the whole time so you’re never just standing there wondering what to do.
It’s super laid back… more like hanging out than being “on camera.” I’ll give prompts, movement, little things to spark interaction so it doesn’t feel forced.
Think golden hour light, open country-style locations, candid movement over stiff posing, real reactions, not overthinking it.
I’m shooting both photo and video, so you’ll get that mix of still moments and behind-the-scenes feel.
Who it’s for
Honestly… anyone who’s open to it.
You don’t need to be super outgoing or “good in front of a camera.” Half the people aren’t, and that’s kind of the point.
If you’re down to try something different, trust the process, and have some fun, you’ll be just fine.
Current Sessions
I keep applications open all the time…there’s no set schedule for these.
When I’m feeling inspired or have an idea (sometimes it’s just a vibe, sometimes it’s a full theme or even an activity), I’ll go through submissions and reach out to someone who feels like a good fit to see if they’re still down.
From there, it can go a couple different ways. Sometimes I’ll share that person (with a bit of info/alias) and open it up for someone to apply specifically to be paired with them. Other times, I’ll pull a second person from past applications if I already see a strong match.
I keep everyone in a running database, and I use a mix of intuition and a little help behind the scenes to match people based on personality, energy, and overall vibe.
Nothing is super rigid, it just depends on the concept and what feels right at the time.
If you apply once, you’re in. And when the right session comes along, I’ll reach out.
How it Works
You apply once, and I keep applications on hand for future sessions.
When I’m planning a shoot, I go through and pick people based on personality, energy, and who I think will create something interesting together. It’s not random, I’m definitely matching vibes.
If you’re chosen, I’ll reach out with all the details (location, what to wear, timing, etc.), and from there it’s pretty simple… you show up, meet, and we see what happens.
